The Da Vinci Science Center, located in Allentown, PA, approached Lyn Godley to propose a concept for a lighting installation that would also serve as signage for the Science Center housed on a corner of the Cedar Crest College Campus. Using light tubes that would appear to be hung in a random pattern, but, as motorists passed by, would line up to spell out the center’s name was created to serve as a marker by day or night. Light Tubes, a programmable lighting system developed by Lyn Godley Design Studio LLC, is reflective by day and illuminated by night making it highly visible day or night.
