Commissioned by Jenette Kahn, CEO of Double Nickel Entertainment and former CEO of DC Comics as a lighting solution for her dining room window treatment in Harlem, NYC. Based on drawings from Godley’s series of Light Dresses, Kahn was intrigued by the idea of the beaded light tubes draping and puddling onto the floor and commissioned Godley to translate the gown into drapery. Godley draped and swagged over 2000ft of rope light and vinyl tubing to create the pearl-like effects of the Beaded Light Curtains. 108″H x 48″W x 5″D each
