An icon of contemporary design, the Crinkle Lamp was the last piece designed together by Lyn Godley and Lloyd Schwan in 1996. It became part of the permanent collection of both the Museum of Modern Art in 1998, and the Museum of Art and Design in 2000.
The Crinkle lamps are handmade individually in house from sculpted frosted sheet plastic with steel disks at the base.
They approximately 11"x11"x11", and are equipped with a candelabra socket and 40 watt bulb.
